TRIO Corporation is one of the leading suppliers of digital
set top box in Australia, working closely with several factories from China,
Taiwan and Korea. Working with several commercial broadcasters, and having
attained licenses from ST Microelectronics, TRIO Corporation has completed
development of TRIO STB that conforms to the Australian digital television
standards. We are currently working on ensuring TRIO STB will work under Taiwan
standards. TRIO Corporation has a specialised development team creating
applications that explore the limits of the MHP standard. The applications are
able to manipulate the transport stream to provide alternative endings,
profiling the viewer to determine which advertisements to show, 3-D images of
products to allow the viewer to "play" with the product, and much more. TRIO
Corporation is at the forefront of digital television development. We can
ensure interoperability between application and STB, whilst maintaining
industry standards.

TCC (Testing and Conformance Centre) - committee responsible
for ensuring set top box manufacturers and broadcasters conform to the relevant
Australian standards.
AITIG (Australian Interactive Television Interoperability
Group) - committee responsible for ensuring MHP applications conform to the
relevant Australian standards and do not impede the operation of the set top
box or other applications.
OTA (Over The Air group) - committee responsible for ensuring
that over the air upgrades conform to the relevant Australian standards and do
not impede the operation other set top boxes
